An empty Central park on a cloudy morning | Chris & Sarina

January 30th, 2023. It was a warm winter’s day in New York City - 48 degrees and cloudy.

The time was 9am and the park was nearly empty. We even got the Gapstow Bridge (you know, that fairytale like bridge by the entrance at 59th and 5th Ave) to ourselves .

Our first time meeting… Started with some snaps on a park bench.

Aren’t park benches just the best??
For me it’s where the busyness of life slows down and it forces me to stop, take a few minutes, breathe, and take in the beauty around me 🤍🌹

The photoshoot is conversational. I’m getting to know them, they’re getting to know me…
They’re whispering cute nothings to each other that bring out real moments. Meanwhile I’m snapping photos.

I have one “rule” with couples. You must always be touching. Even if just a finger 😉🙃

Chris and Sarina have been together two and a half years. This is their first time getting professional photography together.

Couples often wait until a big moment like an engagement or marriage to get professional photos taken. Although those exciting events definitely deserve being captured, I think just being in love - your own unique love story - deserves to be celebrated 💖

How great would it be to have art reflecting your first year, second year, fifth year? Showing your life and love as it grows… :)

I love meeting new people and it was a pleasure capturing Chris and Sarina’s love.

A perfect way to enjoy a Sunday morning in Central Park ❤️
